Meskwaki Casino Reopening

Surprising and Fun

Meskwaki casino tama website

We have never stayed at a casino RV Park before, this was very nice. As you come off US 30 the road starts toward the big hotel. Watch for a road on the right and signing for the RV park behind the hotel.
It is sort of double check in but very easy. Check in at the park and get an assigned site, take this info up to the hotel, an easy walk, and at the main desk you register at your assigned spot, pay for you stay and get bathroom pass cards. The RV park is run rather like the hotel.
There are 50 RV sites, all the roads are blacktop, the pads are cement and 50' long. You needn't unhook your tow. All sites are pull-through. There is power only, too bad. The park is very well maintained, as it is part of the hotel. Very clean and neat with lawns and shade trees around each RV. Each site has a picnic table
The bathrooms are very big and clean, and the laundry looks nice. Antenna TV works very well. The area is well lit and security is every where, it's a casino.
As an RV'er, I can not speak for the Hotel, but the casino is amazing. Huge rooms filled with the new digital age gaming machines of today, hundreds of them. Also an enormous bingo hall, table games, and even OTB.
And with all this there is still very nice restaurants, and even a 'mall-type' food court, a buffet, big sports bars, and a gift shop. Quite a place! Very nice people who were as nice to RV'ers as they would have been to hotel guests. Never felt pressured to spend money, felt very welcome.
